That guitar doesn’t look to bad. A lot of things can be fixed and it will look and play a whole lot better. When you said your first guitar was through JCPenney, I automatically thought about my first guitar I bought through Brand Names way back in the day. It was a Harmony acoustic then I ended up buying an electric harmony guitar. Both guitars were okay.

That my friend Is "Stealth Black" A new favorite

I have almost the same BCP guitar and amp only mine is the sunburst finish. I've had it about a year (I still can't play for squat). I had the same high action problem this guy is talking about, only mine was stupid high. I ordered some cheap hardwood shims from amazon, changed to Earnie Ball strings from the local guitar shop and adjusted the truss rod and bridge. My action is much closer to the neck now. The difference is like night and day. Long story short, for about fifteen dollars worth of stuff and about two hours of work I have a nice playing guitar. Please note that when I started this, all I knew about guitars was seeing them being played on TV. I did not know enough to even realise I had bad strings and high action. I watched a few youtube videos on guitar setup and jumped in. One word of caution. My truss rod did not want to turn when I first put a wrench on it. I had to wiggle it back and forth before it turned. Do not force it! If you have the same trouble, just take your time and keep bumping it back and forth.

Oh man if this video was out 6 years ago it would have made my life so much easier LOL. I did manage to learn all this but it took me about six months of scrounging the internet haha. It's difficult to learn when you don't even know what you're trying to learn.

The metal pieces seem to connect in a similar way than an air hose connects to the various tools one might use with an air compressor.

How many beginners would have died for something like that back in the day. Jeff Beck built his own. George Harrison's was a knock off weird strat thing. Nobody had something as nice as that when they started. We can look down on it that guitar. Shame! Listen to how fantastic it sounds with a great guitar player. If I didn't already have a strat, I would buy one. Wonderful job. I'm joining...

BUT… It keeps listing and disappearing, back and forth. I’m one of only two people I know who have one.
